Perfect Posture

“For Yahweh is righteous; he loves righteous deeds. The upright shall see his face.”

A chiropractor scans and x-rays our back, tells us how jacked it is and then starts cracking it back in place.  If it's super jacked up we have to go everyday to get it put back in place.  Why? Because of muscle memory.  Tight muscles with bad habits from bad posture, lack of maintenance or care, or severe accidents.   Everyday it has to be moved back into proper place.  Why is it important to get corrected? So our spine is aligned and lets our nervous system function with no hinderances, and our body functions at full capacity.  The corrections also aid it developing the proper posture, by showing us where we have been in the past that we shouldn't be there now, and where we should be ideally and strive to stay.

Specific adjustments ensure that the spine is aligned so our brain's nervous system messages aren't being blocked by issues in the neck.  Likewise certain adjustments of vertebrae help align other parts of the spine and the neurological messages get sent to certain other areas of the body.  It's a highway of information signals being sent from the head, through the neck, down the spine, and out to the various parts of the body.  But we need an expert to help align us. We can't do it ourself or of our own strength.  Eventually after being aligned everyday our body begins to develop the muscle memory and begins to remember better where it's spine should be.  Less adjustments are needed and eventually with strength training only a few adjustments needed to keep in check.

Society says someone who is "spineless" or "has no back bone" is someone with a lack of proper posture, someone with a tendency towards unethical or cowardly behavior.

Much like how our skeletal and neurological system needs to be aligned, We also need to be aligned and adjusted spiritually.  The word of God being our plume line.  We need someone with expertise in the word to come along side us and help push our spiritual spine back in place when it's thrown out, broken or crushed by accidents or hurts, or twisted by the fruits of bad decisions.  If we've had bad posture habits, sometimes we'll need that adjustment everyday, to begin to learn where proper placement, stance, position, posture is.

When our spiritual being begins to learn the proper spiritual posture.  Our spiritual self begins to function as we are called to function.  Much like how our physical brain sends signals and our body responds, our spiritual head, Christ Jesus, the word of God, informs our spirit what to do.  The signals only come through crystal clear when we are aligned and upright.  When our posture is straight.  Not slouchy.   If we have bad posture the signal can be blocked by the tension that surrounds the core of our spiritual system. When we get our spiritual posture upright, we position ourselves to receive blessings from God.

The benefits of upright spiritual posture:

"For the LORD is [absolutely] righteous, He loves righteousness (virtue, morality, justice); The upright shall see His face.”

Righteous just a fancy word for "doing what's right."

Luke8:15 ‘And that in the good ground: These are they, who in an upright and good heart, having heard the word, do retain it, and bear fruit in continuance." Jesus speaking of good spiritual posture

“My shield and my defense depend on God, Who saves the upright in heart.”

PSALM7:10AMP

Many more benefits and promises listed for those who have upright spiritual posture.

Physical change for the benefit can be uncomfortable, even painful at times.  But being stagnant is the beginning of progressively getting worse, which in the long term is more painful.  An object that is in motion tends to stay in motion, likewise the point that marks the beginning of the end for the object in motion is the point at which it begins to decelerate.  Spiritual change for the benefit can also be uncomfortable.  But as some man would say in a terrible German accent "hey girly man... no pain, no gain!"

When was your last spiritual adjustment?

Have you ever had a spiritual adjustment?

Have you ever accepted Jesus?  That's the 1st adjustment, getting your spiritual being connected to the head Christ Jesus.
