“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
“For I know the plans that I am planning concerning you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for prosperity and not for harm, to give to you a future and a hope. Then when you call me, and you come and pray to me, then I will listen to you. When you search for me, then you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart. And I will let myself be found by you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and I will restore your fortunes, and I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places to which I have driven you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from which I deported you.’”
If your not seeking, your not finding, if your not ringing the door bell no one will answer.
People say "I don't believe in God."
That makes a lot of sense especially if they don't know Jesus. Jesus said "...If you had known me, you would have known my Father also."
It also begs the question, are your seeking truth? have you asked him to reveal himself to you? Are you asking God the right questions with the right motives? Are you asking the wrong questions, like how can God exists with so much evil in the world?, how can God allow for so much hurt and pain? How can god be real when my dad died? When my sister got cancer? When this person abused me? Etc.
Amazon packages don't show up to your doorstep on their own. Amazon packages only show up after we go to Amazon.com and search for products that are free 2 day shipping, or even same day shipping, find the best value product, add to our cart, order it, and pay for it before a mail service like fed ex or ups delivers it... then it actually arrives on our doorstep, and in some cases we've got to sign for it before we get to open it! We've got to seek it out, we've got look it up and it's going to costs us something. Then someone is going deliver us the answer we are looking for.
You want god to be revealed, put an order in on his website for a dozen truth bombs. The product is free, but it'll cost shipping and handling, at the ripe price of sincerity and authenticity of heart. You'll have to get real with yourself and be honest in your request to God.
“...For God does not see what man sees, for a man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart.””
“Blessed are the pure in heart, because they will see God.”
“For the eyes of Yahweh roam throughout all the earth to strengthen those whose heart is fully devoted to him...””
Be on the lookout for your package that is on it way. God has a personal fed ex delivery system... it's called preaching.
“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.”
When the package gets to you, accept it, and sign for it, don't say, I don't know what this is I never ordered this.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you know him and have seen him.””
Authenticity of heart is paramount to knowing Gods existence and feeling his presence.
““The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].”
““Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, and upon finding a single pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
“He gave them another parable [to consider], saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and of all the seeds [planted in the region] it is the smallest, but when it has grown it is the largest of the garden herbs and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR FIND SHELTER IN ITS BRANCHES.””
“...For truly I say to you, if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.””
